Chicken liver

I had for lunch 150 g of chicken liver with a salad made of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions with a balsamic vinegar dressing!

Chicken liver is a great source of vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid)  and if you didn’t know, any deficiency in this vitamin will interfere with your body’s capacity to burn fat, the reason for which liver is considered among foods that fight fat!

Each 85g of liver contain 150 Calories, 324 mg of cholesterol and 4 g of fat; thus all those suffering from high blood cholesterol can only eat 150g of liver once every two weeks.

The best and healthiest way to prepare chicken liver is to cook them in a pan with pomegranate molasses.

They are high in iron, niacin, selenium, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin A and Zinc!
