~*Beans, beans, beans…

I had for breakfast 30g of brown Arabic bread with 2 tbsp of labneh light, 1/4 tsp of olive oil, cucumbers and cherry tomatoes! All along with a glass of skimmed milk!

My 11h00 am snack consisted of 23 pieces of almonds ..

I started my lunch with a salad made of lettuce, shredded carrots, two tbsp of corn and red kidney beans with a light balsamic dressing!

Beans are a great source of proteins very rich in fiber and thus would make feel full for a longer period of time! In fact comparative studies have shown that people who ate beans for lunch ingested less calories throughout the day!

Beans also balance blood sugar levels which is vital for optimal brain function knowing that sudden peaks in the amounts of glucose in your blood causes irritability, poor concentration and cognition.

Thus, if you wish to improve your IQ,  Incorporate beans in your daily dishes; with your salads, burger patties, stews or soups …

Then I had 120g of homemade chicken fajita with Mexican salsa sauce !

As an afternoon snack, i had a glass of fresh orange juice with a small banana!

I had for dinner a salad made of cooked spinach leaves with diced red peppers lemon juice and a tablespoon of olive oil!
